After returning from trading with eladrin “cousins,” Quinn found his small human and elven village sacked by hobgoblins, and his family, friends, and mentor captured or slain. After setting out after the raiders, he was captured himself, only to be rescued by a band of adventurers who were seeking others captured by the same creatures. After learning that his master was among those slain, he began journeying with his rescuers, seeking to spare others the chaos and upheaval his village had seen. Since that time, the group has worked to free the oppressed held by the hobgoblins and others held by a barbarian horde that has risen to power in the east. Currently, the group is operating out of Fallcrest, investigating a number of deaths and disappearances which may be linked to a one or more groups seeking to unsettle the city and remove the Temple of Bahamut from its powerful position in the city’s defense and government.
Quinn has since learned that not all of his friends and family were captured when his village was raided, and that his parents were in an elven settlement, but that his father later fell when fighting continued hobgoblin raids in the elven lands to the north. He hopes to mount an expedition to those lands at some point in the future, to aid the elves, locate the family sword his father carried, and avenge the deaths he was witnessed.
